Jan 20, 2022 · I was interested in buying an auto E90 335i but the one I was gonna look at got sold. While checking out another bimmer this body shop also had a modded 6 speed E92 335xi. Ended up test driving it and fell in love. Thing is I was originally looking for a rwd model, coupe or sedan was fine with me. Doesn’t matter if auto or stick.

Hello everyone. I got a 2011 bmw 335xi with 39k miles this week and I plan on throwing a new set of wheels on. Mostly already set on 18x8.5 w 235/40/18 in the front and 18x9.5 w 265/35/18 in the back. I’ve got about 3/4 people who say they run the same set up on the same year and model with no rubbing or anyproblems .

Apr 8, 2015 · Regarding the misfire. I'm pulling the codes with a BMW scanner giving me the 29CD code which reads out as "Misfire detection cylinder 1 in 1 firing order." I'm with you on this though. I'm going to go rent a compression tester tomorrow and check the cylinder (fingers crossed that it's good).

Sep 2, 2014 · Looking into buying a used (2008) 335xi sedan and was wondering what the general consensus is on the reliability of these things. Seen a lot of mixed reviews having to due with the waste gate, high pressure fuel pump, and VANOS systems failing.

I have a 2008 335xi, e92, 6 MT, bought at 122,000 km from a dealership. Replaced turbos at 126,000 km for $5600. New pulley tensioner at 140,000 km for $560. No other big cost issues. I am now at 144,000 km. Vacuum lines did not need to be replaced. On your test drive, listen for a tin-can rattle sound when you let off the gas.

I've been experiencing an issue with the automatic transmission not shifting properly, especially noticeable when transitioning from 3rd to 4th gear. When I accelerate strongly, the car fails to shift and enters "limp mode." I can turn off "limp mode" by restarting the car, but the issue eventually recurs.

So I did. Unfortunately I still have no heat inside of the car. Even after bleeding the system multiple times.
