Atlin (Tlingit: Wéinaa) is a community in northwestern British Columbia, Canada, located on the eastern shore of Atlin Lake. [1] In addition to continued gold-mining activity, Atlin is a tourist destination for fishing, hiking and heliskiing. As of 2016, there are 477 permanent residents.

Atlin Lake is the largest natural lake in British Columbia and it is the headwater of the Yukon River. The lake, combined with the many other Southern Lakes in the Yukon Territory, were all paddle routes during the Klondike Gold Rush.

Atlin Lake, Little Atlin Lake and the community of Atlin are in that valley. There are mountains to your left made of white granite, with evergreens at the base. Follow Highway 8 for about 2 km. Turn left at Highway 7 (The Atlin Road).
