Sep 14, 2017 · Aldi has a HUGE issue with gluten contamination on their products, and constantly has recalls on some. None of their facilities are 100% gluten free. Many swear by Canyon House, or Against the grain. I personally love Julian Bakery grain free breads, their new seed bread....toast like real bread, low carb, grain free, and 100% gluten free facility.

Without actually seeing the label, I am speculating, but the product could be considered gluten-free under European rules while containing Codex wheat starch. Under Canadian rules, such a product can not be labeled gluten-free. In the United States, there is still no rule defining "gluten-free."

Jun 16, 2011 · It is cheaper than the Giant Eagle gluten free polish kielbasa. Also, Aldi's fresh meats and such often list "enhanced with up to 12% solution" on the product. Are those safe for Celiacs or not? I always envisioned the solution to be some kind of broth that may contain gluten, I dunno. Information or opinions? Thanks in advance!
