Nov 9, 2024 · I vote a 22 LR AR-15. Plain fun and cheaper to shoot. Really improves your ability to shoot off hand after shooting steel plates and good training for CQB. I have 22 LR AR-15’s set up like my centerfire AR-15’s. If you want another intermediate cartridge I really like my 6.5 Grendel AR-15’s. My most recent dedicated 22 LR AR-15.

Mar 6, 2020 · I have a project I'm working on for a low budget, lightweight build, with minimal recoil. I've got the low budget, lightweight build part done. I'm struggling with the light recoil. OK OK - I know all AR15s are light recoil. I guess I'm going for 22LR felt recoil on an AR build WITHOUT going to a 22LR conversion.

Jun 22, 2020 · My first experience with headspace issues were on my "perfect" carbine build. I ordered a 16" lightweight chrome lined barrel and bolt from RRA. Had to swap bolts with an older 20" rifle build after I bought a set of headspace gauges. My second experience with headspace issues was with a BCM nitride bolt and a PSA stainless 18" barrel.

Apr 5, 2017 · Recently finished a lightweight build with a LaRue 16" PredatAR barrel and Anderson lower. LPK is either an Anderson or PSA, and BCG is a PSA premium (everything is new except the gas block). The issue I am having is the trigger is not resetting after firing.
