Feb 2, 2023 · Well, the AMD 3020e is a 6w, Zen1 based APU, so it's pretty trimmed down in terms of what it can do. In terms of raw CPU horsepower, it's around the same as the i5-5250U off a 2015 Macbook Air 11, or the i5-8700Y from a 2018 Acer Swift 7. In terms of GPU performance, something like half of an RX540.

Sep 25, 2022 · The AMD 3020e will perform better. HOWEVER, you need to take in consideration the other features of the laptops such as: RAM size/speed, type of storage (SSD/HDD), battery capacity, if it has a dedicated GPU and so on.

May 17, 2022 · I'm mainly a linux user, but when I got my new HP 255 G8 with an AMD 3020e I decided to try and see how Windows 10 runs under it, just for giggles. The CPU being a lower end, non hyperthreaded 2 core, ofc struggled a bit, but it ran just fine and it reached its stated maximum boost frequency of 2.6 GHz just fine.

I got the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ADA05 AMD 3020e, 8GB/256GB SSD 15.6" 1080p (TN) for 279€, it was a special deal at the time and the laptop is around 380€ now. Reply reply dok_DOM
