In Arkansas, you can register while renewing your driver’s license, online through www.arora.org/donatelife, or using your Arkansas driver’s license or state ID card at one of our convenient donor registration kiosks located throughout the state.

Once brain death has been confirmed by medical personnel not associated with the organ recovery, the donation process is set into motion. Tissues can be recovered up to 24 hours after death by trained technicians in a tissue recovery suite at ARORA or a hospital operating room.
