Tim Burchett took to the floor of the House on March 12 to demand the NCAA allow Alberto Osuna to play for Tennessee baseball. The Knoxville Republican congressman repeatedly implored the NCAA to do the right thing by granting Osuna the eligibility he has been denied through a waiver attempt and in the court system.

U.S. Congressman Tim Burchett has made his stance clear on whether or not Alberto Osuna should play baseball for Tennessee; he wants the NCAA to “do the right dadgum thing.”

Alberto Osuna has been denied in two attempts to gain eligibility against the NCAA through the court system. The Tennessee slugger is still trying.
