In the immediate aftermath of Kentucky basketball’s rivalry win over Tennessee on Tuesday night, UK coach Mark Pope didn’t have much to offer regarding the injury status of Jaxson Robinson. And what Pope did say about Robinson wasn’t optimistic about the guard’s right wrist injury.

Robinson is not the only Wildcat dealing with an injury. Fellow fifth-year guard Kerr Kriisa remains out with a foot injury and is “a ways away” from returning, according to Pope. Additionally, guard Lamont Butler, who has been battling a shoulder issue, is listed as probable, while forward Andrew Carr continues to deal with a back injury.

Even after a big win against Tennessee, injuries are once again a big storyline for Kentucky. And with two of their biggest guys, Lamont Butler and Jaxson Robinson. One was a reaggravation during Tuesday’s game while another was a pregame decision.
