There was a lot of skepticism surrounding the odd-ball-shaped Cybertruck's crashworthiness, but it didn't do too badly.

These days, Tesla and its vehicles are in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. But the Cybertruck has finally undergone crash tests by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the results have been shared with the public.

The Tesla Cybertruck finally has an official crash safety rating more than a year after deliveries began in Nov. 2023. The result is impressive: five stars overall and in almost all individual categories.
