The City of New Orleans says it has spent more than 18 months preparing to host its 11th Super Bowl on Feb. 9.

The 2025 Super Bowl will mark the 11th time New Orleans has hosted the event and the first time since 2013. And while the city has a lot of experience

Opening Night: On the Monday before the big game, the public can hit Opening Night at the Superdome at 5 p.m. for $20 a person. The event includes New Orleans-themed entertainment and a chance to see both teams and coaches in their sole public appearance before the game.

While the city braces for the Super Bowl frenzy, there’s an entirely different side of New Orleans waiting to be explored.

The Eagles have landed. The Philadelphia Eagles’ charter flight touched down in New Orleans on Sunday afternoon, a week before their Feb. 9 Super Bowl matchup against the Kansas City, who were slated to land about 90 minutes later.
