An Indiana police officer has been slapped with child neglect charges for making his six year old daughter stand outside in frigid conditions, holding a sign degrading her actions. Cody Scott and his spouse Kylie Scott found themselves in handcuffs after passersby reported seeing the girl outdoors on January 19,

The girl had to hold a sign in 18-degree weather that said “I want to stab and kill my brother,” according to news outlets.

The parents allegedly made the 6-year-old girl stand by the road in 18-degree weather with an embarrassing sign for 30 minutes at a time.
