The airline has just added more nonstop flights and increased service in key U.S. cities, including San Diego, Austin and Nashville, through November 2025.

The Dallas-based carrier is adding two new routes as part of its schedule extension. The new routes are San Diego to Fresno, California, and Austin to Jacksonville, Florida.

Fliers taking short routes on Southwest Airlines might notice a lack of refreshments on their trip to another Texas city or elsewhere.  Full drink service won't be available on "express service flights" that are about 40 minutes or less,

Southwest is adding more flights in its schedule from Columbus to San Diego – and a few other destinations. John Glenn Columbus International Airport's busiest airline will expand its flight options this fall.
