From an announcement that the Lady Noles' Ta'Niya Latson will stay at FSU for her senior year, to the 200th ACC win for outgoing men's basketball head coach Leonard Hamilton—followed by a new hire to fill his position—the past few days have been a whirlwind in the Florida State University basketball world.

Luke Loucks, an assistant coach with the NBA's Sacramento Kings and Florida State alum, has emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Leonard Hamilton as Seminoles head coach, a source told ESPN on Friday.

Loucks will be stepping into Hamilton's shoes after playing a key role as a player in FSU's first ACC Championship run in 2012.
