A total of three arrests have been made after a teacher at a Georgia daycare was accused of giving toddlers Benadryl.
Two new arrests were made by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, according to Reg Griffin, communications officer for DECAL.
The investigation started after one of the workers was accused of giving Benadryl to children to make them sleep.
The order from a state agency that regulates daycares forced the daycare to close immediately, saying there were risks of 'imminent danger' to do otherwise.
The Georgia DECAL has found "that the health, safety, or welfare of children in care will be in imminent danger if this center is allowed to operate during the investigation," the filing said.
