The everlasting power of Shrek cannot be overstated ... Watching the movie today, it’s still hard not to appreciate the beautiful animation, even if it might appear dated to some now.

While the animation style for Shrek 5 is slightly different than previous entries in the franchise, it's hard to say if the entire movie will look exactly like this based on just one trailer.
