3 men killed in boat crash during Major League Fishing tournament

Three men who were on the center console vessel — Joey Broom, 58, of Altoona, Alabama; John Clark, 44, of Cullman, Alabama; and Jeffrey Little, 62, of Brandon, Mississippi — were killed as a result of the collision. USA Today reported that Cullman and Little fell overboard and drowned. Broom died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

WBMA reports that now three have been confirmed dead, while another three are injured after the multi-boat accident. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified one of those killed as 58-year-old Joey M. Broom from Altoona. The MLF said that the incident also involved Flint Davis, a competitive angler from Leesburg, Georgia.
