Wildfires in South Korea fueled by high winds and dry weather have killed at least two dozen people and forced almost 30,000 to evacuate.

Wildfires swept across South Korea's southeast, prompting mass evacuations of residents and inmates. Acting President Han Duck-soo promised swift action with aerial and ground firefighting resources.
