New York City Fire Department (FDNY) deputy chief Michael Trahan said crews responded at about 9:45 a.m. on Friday to a report of workers being trapped on a scaffolding at 25 Columbus Circle.
More than 100 firefighters responded to the blaze, which was was called at 7:06 p.m. at 7 Rosewood Place, near Cebra Avenue, according to a spokesman for the FDNY/EMS and a FDNY social media post.
