The Florida Panthers will once again be doing some mixing-and-matching tonight when they play host to the Detroit Red Wings. It is nothing like what happened Sunday in Detroit, however. The Panthers will again have a number of top players back in the lineup — Sasha Barkov,

Petr Mrazek will back up Talbot, indicating Mrazek will get the start Friday when the Wings play at the Tampa Bay Lightning. McLellan indicated there could be a lineup change against the Panthers, and with Elmer Söderblom not skating Thursday morning, that could mean Austin Watson will sub in on the fourth line.

Greg Millen, who ended his 14-year NHL career as a goaltender in 1992 with the Detroit Red Wings, has died. He was 67. The Red Wings acquired Millen from the New York Rangers for future considerations on Dec. 26, 1991, and he appeared in 10 games with the club, going 3-2-3, with a 2.71 goals-against average and .896 save percentage.
