In Stratford, Seymour, Monroe and Shelton, Republican Jason Perillo appears to have won a seat in the State Senate. Perillo’s Democratic opponent, Tony Afriyie, conceded in a statement.

State Sen. Jason Perillo (R-Shelton) was sworn in at the State Capitol Feb. 28 following his victory in this month's special election.
