Deadpool' creator Rob Liefeld has cut ties with Marvel after being angered by the way studio executives treated him at the New York premiere of 'Deadpool and Wolverine' last year.

Nearly 35 years after creating Deadpool, Rob Liefeld has reached his boiling point with Marvel. The comic book creator, who conceived the character in a 1990 issue of New Mutants, publicly cut ties with Marvel as he recounted being snubbed at the July 2024 premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine.

The writer-artist describes several perceived slights, such as being denied access to the afterparty, and makes a head-turning claim: "Kevin Feige does not treat comic book creators well."
