CHARLESTON , S.C. (WCIV) — A statewide burn ban is in effect for South Carolina beginning at 6 p.m. Friday. The S.C. Forestry Commission says weather conditions over the next few days present an elevated wildfire risk. They say Thursday's rain made little difference with the fires currently burning in our state.
