Penn State assistant head football coach Ja’Juan Seider, who has developed Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen, is leaving to become running backs coach at Notre Dame, a source confirmed Sunday to the Reading Eagle.

The Tribune is reporting that Notre Dame is expected to hire Ja’Juan Seider of Penn State. He will replace Deland McCullough, who has left the Irish to coach running backs for the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL.

McCullough's exit is another high-profile loss for Freeman. In the days immediately following the CFP title bout, Al Golden returned to the NFL to become defensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals.
