Are they strict about reservation times? Has anyone been able to enter before their pre-booked time? We made reservations for 11am, thinking we can realistically get there between 10:30-11am. I read online you could be denied if you arrived after 30 min into your slot, so just curious if they are lenient about letting people in early if its not crowded.

No not strict if you are just walking in... parking will be strict because there are limited spaces
Q:
I have a reservation with parking 6-8am. Can I come before 6 am to hike for sunrise? Will the gate be open?
A:
No. The gate for Diamond Head does not open before 6:00 am.
