A combination display of water, music and light which was originally built in 1929. It was restored in 1992 and provides a spectacular show every half hour.

Well since the fountain is completely dry I'm wondering why TripAdvisor wouldn't mention that to save people the trouble of going. So this one is best skipped until they turn on the water.Full review by Andy V

At the foot of Montjuic is a grand palace with mighty pillars and the Magic Fountain. Unfortunately when I visited there was nothing magical about the fountain. It had no water in and was not working…Full review by therichastill
Is the Magic Fountain currently open? Will it be open for the last week of March 2023? I checked online but it appears that the fountain is closed due to drought. Thanks!

It’s not currently on, I think it will resume when they remove the drought restrictions.
