A beautiful lake situated on the Icefields Parkway. It sparkled gloriously in the early morning sunlight. We didn't visit the lodge, only stopping in the lay-by along the Icefields Parkway.Full review by jsd26

In terms of the road side viewing areas, when we went there and on both occasions the main pull in parking lot was pretty full but cars do move on so you probably wouldn’t wait long, however to the left is a small track. Drive down there and there’s more parking plus toilets and picnics benches. The first time, we had this to ourselves! The majority of tourists seem to miss this bit.
Not at all, Bow lake is located along the Icefields Parkway...actually in the main road you'll find a view point! Great stop, walking distance, hassle free :)
Where exactly is the picnic area? Is it a separate stop from the lake? Is it at the North end or past the north end of the lake or anywhere close to Num-ti-Jah Lodge? Miz

The picnic area is at the lake but about 1km South from the turn off to drive into Num Ti Jah Lodge. That Lodge is the log building with the red roof.
