*Please check the Witley Court and Gardens website for the official opening hours. Discover the secrets and stories of a lost world at this magnificent country house. Built in the 17th century and remodelled in Victorian times, disaster struck in 1937 when a fire ripped through the Italianate building. Today it’s the perfect place for a family adventure, with dramatic ruins, beautiful gardens and wild woodlands waiting to be explored. There’s even an amazing play area for children inspired by nature, with a tree house, wobbly bridge and outdoor musical instruments.

I’ve always loved Witley Court. The gardens are always beautiful and you can tell lots of maintenance goes into maintaining the site and its gardens. It’s really nice to go for a walk around the site…Full review by rabbittoes
