Curious ! How deep is the coal mine

Hi YashiC1 we take tourists 93 metres below the surface to what is called the first bench, however the mine is around 400 metres in depth.

He will need good shoes as the path is wet. A handrail helps to an extent. The incline is one in 4 down around 200 metres to a depth of about 60 metres below ground. A helmet is …

He will need good shoes as the path is wet. A handrail helps to an extent. The incline is one in 4 down around 200 metres to a depth of about 60 metres below ground. A helmet is compulsory and you will need one for sure down there. A winch driven type of train returns you to the surface after an hour and a half tour.
