Is the river walk open or closed August 2022? There seem to be recent reviews but the 'Nerja tourismo' website says "COVID-19 The excursion along the Nerja river (Chillar) and bathing in its pools are totally prohibited." Is the tourismo website just out of date?

I think so. We were there in early June and there were no restrictions. Maybe check when you are there. Enjoy!
