It looks as though the Going to the Sun rd will not be open in June when we have scheduled our visit. Can anyone advise if it is still worth going to GNP and if so, what sights would we be able to see. Thanks in advance.

I just go to the overlook to see the Glacier, not really go to the glacier itself, for going to the overlook, you can either drive or take the trolley inside the national park, the trolley would have several stops along the "going-to-the-sun" road, but the trolley is available in summer time (may be from May to Sep? better check with the official website).
