Do the interactive tour if you like animals. You get to feed and pet the dogs if the dogs let you. The sanctuary is beautiful!Full review by Trey B

You would probably have to consult them, rain jacket would probably be a better choice.

I believe their hours are constant, as the wolf dogs are on the same schedule regardless of weather or holidays. But as others have mentioned I would contact the Sanctuary to be sure

A:
You want to be there for feeding time. If you don't take a scheduled tour, the people who work there are really friendly and knowledgeable and will answer lots of your questions.

Yes it's quite a long way from Banff - hence the $700. Try emailing the sanctuary or the tourist office in Banff. We were staying in Cochran so not so far and we had transport. …

Yes it's quite a long way from Banff - hence the $700. Try emailing the sanctuary or the tourist office in Banff. We were staying in Cochran so not so far and we had transport. The sanctuary is quite interesting but I think you could spend your $700 on more interesting places. Maybe cheaper to hire a car. There's likely to be a lot of snow in December.
